Bio — Long
Across more than two decades, Larrance Dopson has built one of the deepest production catalogs in modern Black music. As co-founder of 1500 or Nothin' — the Inglewood-rooted production collective — he helped engineer the sound of an era, with credits spanning hip-hop, R&B, pop, and film score.
His work appears on records for Kendrick Lamar, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai, Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky, Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, and dozens more. He holds 4 Grammy wins and 13 RIAA certifications, including a Diamond plaque on Roddy Ricch's "The Box."
In 2024 he served as keys, arranger, and musical contributor on Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen — the Tony-nominated Broadway musical at the Shubert Theatre.
Today he licenses his catalog directly through this site, ships sound libraries used by working producers, and teaches the craft through The Ivory Method. He is published by peermusic (IPI 785759961).
